Built as homes in the mid ninteenth century, 110-138 Mansfield Road formed part of the historic Bridge Estate which was originally created by a Royal Charter of King Edward VI on 21 February 1551 with Nottingham Corporation as Trustee. The objective was to provide funds to maintain and repair the Bridge. The properties were used latterly as offices and were listed grade II in 1988.

At 2,400 sq ft over 4 floors and a basement, they are substantial properties. RDArchitects were commissioned to convert the properties back to family houses. The approach in doing so was to minimise the extent of alteration. The ground floor was extended to provide additional reception areas and new bathrooms were created on the upper floors.
